Separate the time needed to submit an application from the time needed for verification, assessment, acceptance and any transfer. A general estimate cannot guarantee when money will reach an account.
Identify the stage you have reached
Check whether the application is merely submitted, whether information is still requested, whether an offer has been made, and whether an agreement has been accepted. The application process guide explains these stages.
Check what is still required
Missing or unclear documents can require follow-up. Use the document preparation checklist and verify how the company will request additional information. Do not assume a message from an unfamiliar sender is legitimate.
Understand transfer dependencies
Ask what method is proposed and what banking or provider conditions apply to the actual transaction. Advertised estimates should not be treated as commitments for a particular hour, weekend or holiday. Confirm current information with Mr. Payday contact channels instead of relying on another lender's timing claim.
Do not let urgency replace agreement review
Before accepting, check costs, total repayment and dates. Read how to review the agreement even if the expense is urgent. Consider a payment arrangement or another alternative when timing uncertainty would make borrowing unsuitable.
Keep the repayment date in view
An expected transfer time is not a repayment schedule. Use the written agreement and repayment guidance to understand the obligation you would accept.
