Prepare the information requested by the current application and confirm the submission method before sending it. This checklist is general guidance, not a statement that one document list applies to every applicant.
Make a preparation list
- Identity information requested by the lender.
- Contact and address details that you can confirm.
- Evidence of income in the format requested.
- Banking information or verification requested through the actual application.
- Information needed to understand the proposed payment schedule.
Ask about acceptable formats
Check whether the application requires current statements, readable scans or another format. Ask how missing information can be supplied and avoid sending repeated copies through multiple channels without knowing why they are needed.
Confirm the channel
Check the intended domain and recipient. Do not send sensitive information in response to an unfamiliar message. Read the privacy policy and bank-verification explanation before granting access. Verification of information and authorization to debit payments are different matters.
Keep your own records
Retain the offer, agreement, confirmations and relevant messages. Keep sensitive copies securely. Use the loan-agreement checklist to identify the documents that explain costs and dates.
Continue only when the requirements make sense
Return to the application process or eligibility questions if you need context. Do not treat a prepared document folder as a guarantee of approval.
